Work Preferences

Looking for ENFP social marketing advice?
ENFPs are quick to see the possibilities (and potential pitfalls) within new ideas and projects, and are outstanding at initiating these and persuading others to support them or get involved. They enjoy exploring options or experimenting with new methods. They prefer to be on the move and interacting with people rather than focusing exclusively on tasks.

ENFPs welcome change and are highly adaptable in their careers. They are adept at working with other people and make enthusiastic participants in most projects. They flourish in a varied, supportive and lively work environment that allows them freedom of thought and action. Personal leadership is natural to them, and they are highly self-motivated, though at times they need direction from others in order to keep them focused on their career objectives.

Although ENFPs have many skills, their need for interaction and stimulation can mean they become demotivated when working on their own for too long or when working at tasks that are bureaucratic or demand great attention to detail or routine. Therefore, when doing this kind of work they need to ensure that they are getting stimulation from elsewhere.

The ideas behind the Personality Type concepts presented here are those of the eminent Swiss psychologist Carl Jung, which were later developed further by Katharine Briggs and Isabel Briggs-Myers, creators of the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator (M.B.T.I.)® instrument. Used with permission.
No registration required! This is not a questionnaire - instead, you will be asked to make four simple choices. You can then read the Work Life Profile for your personality type.
